Chris Skidmore is one of the worst MPs ive ever had. He follows the Tory leadership blindly and doesn't have his own opinion.

I emailed Chris Skidmore to voice my concerns about the UK's impending withdrawal from the European Union and to lodge my opposition to the current government and Theresa May's handling of Brexit negotiations thus far. I also voiced my desire to have a delay of Article 50 and preferably the instigation of a second referendum to assess the "will of the people " now that there is a known deal on the table. I was met with a tardy, stonewalled "typical Tory" response. Nothing in Chris' response showed any true understanding of the diverse needs of his constituents, nor did he attempt to engage in any meaningful or constructive dialogue on the issue. His approach is to tow the party line regardless of the negative impact that will be had on his constituents and he was dismissive of my very real concerns. I did not vote for Chris Skidmore, but as one of his constituents, he represents me. What a great shame he is not more like his predecessor Roger Berry, who actively represented ALL constituents for Kingswood. As a student of History, I urge Chris to revisit the teachings of thegreat Tory philosopherand Bristol MP, Edmund Burke, who advocated that an MP should act on their own conscience, but should themselves be an advocate for all their constituents, regardless of political affiliation.

I went to Chris Skidmore to try and find out the latest in relation to Brexit and export planning. I found a giant fat man in a beard, which seemed to please my son no end. He also spoke a lot of sense about politics, tax and social reform. That's more than I can say for Chris Skidmore, but you gotta hand it to him. At least his office is right there in the centre. Maybe he's a fan of Sticky Fingers for more than their cakes?
